I object strongly to the presence of the three political party members I encountered today while voting at the Thomas Jones Primary School on St Marks Road just south of Lancaster Road.
The three people each wearing large coloured ribbons representing the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties were inside the school just at the inside entrance to the large voting room seated on a row of chairs and/or standing talking with people.
When I went in, a seated male said "Hi" to me. I ignored him, said nothing and walked into the large room to cast my vote.
As I left studiously ignoring these three people, one of them, a woman, started talking to me. I paused, looked back, and she got up from her chair coming over to me asking "Have we got your . . .".
I cut her off at this point telling her that I objected to their presence inside the polling place. She then repeated what I had said to the other two adding "We are entitled to be here."
I said nothing in response to this claim and added that I would be making a complaint as I left.
I assumed that she was going to ask me for my polling card information which has happened in the past. I've always objected to this event each time I've voted and have been against this since my first vote in this country and council in 1992.
I do not believe that any political party member has the right to be inside the polling area carrying out political activity regardless of what it might be.
No one has the right to know my personal details from my polling card. It is private information which only those in an official voting verification role have the right to request when they give me a ballot.
The fact that I am voting is a matter of privacy as well and is my right to disclose as I please but not the right of political party members to know that I was present casting a ballot at any given time.
I also believe that they prey upon people by pretending to be in an official capacity inside the school polling location at the entrance of the actual voting room thus intimidating people to provide the information as if it were an officially required act.
The woman had asked me "Have WE got your . . . " The "WE" carried air official authority request as if they were entitled to something and acting in an official voting capacity.
She also claimed she had the right to be there which I do not believe to be the case.
I do not believe that political party members should be any closer than some 50 feet from the street entrance to the polling place on election day in any a capacity that reflects electioneering as was the case here.
After I left, I walked down St Marks Road to the north encountering a PCSO and regular police officer talking at the corner of what believe might have been Bartle Road.
I stopped and let them know about this situation that I considered to be wrong leaving it to their discretion about what to do given overall problems in the area and whether or not this is actually something which is contrary to rules/regulations regarding polling place electioneering.

13:16:17 "Hello, sir," said male political party member sitting on chair right next to entrance of the voting room amid talking by female who was standing with a male. I ignored him and went into voting room.
13:16:32 "Hello," I said as I began the voting process.
13:18:59 "Sir," says a female party member sitting in chair as I passed by from the voting room toward the exit; "Will you excuse me," she asks. "Have we got your number or your [date/data to] requirements?" she asked.
13:19:04 "I strongly object to your presence here, and I'm asking you to leave the premises. You're not supposed to be on the premises . . ." I said.
13:19:10 "Yes, we are. We're allowed to be," said a female. "Yes, we really are," said what sounds like a second female voice.
13:19:13 "I will register a complaint about this," I said. "Fine you do," said a female. "All three parties," I added.
13:19:17 "You mustn't have been here very long. I think . . . ," said a female as I departed.
By my accent she was recognising me as a foreigner while implying I was not knowledgeable of polling station procedures permitting them to be present asking for details from my polling card which was private and confidential to anyone except polling station staff. This is a ploy to undermine people personally in order to intimidate and obtain information requested. I refused to engage in any kind of conversation and departed.

I say this because I've been subjected to totally invasive surveillance technology torture abuse for 11.5+ years after reporting child abuse in an adjoining flat to the local Council exactly 12 years ago tomorrow.
Three months later surveillance technology was provided to the child abusers in mid-August 1998 along with others engaged in antisocial and criminal behaviour to use as a weapon against me 24/7/365 to stop my reporting and drive me out.
The surveillance technology has escalated all along as I continued my extensive reporting to all and sundry including Prime Minister Tony Blair starting in September 1999 after significant reporting failed to stop what had become ongoing child abuse that by then which also included adult abuse.
In February 2001 US government agents joined with their most sophisticated surveillance technology ever known seven months before 9/11 and subverted my legal processing in the High Court seeking protection from this abuse.
In July/August 2001 still before 9/11 I sent daily diary/logs consisting of some 15 to 20 pages of extensive detailed torture including sleep deprivation logs about this atrocious surveillance torture abuse to cabinet members including Prime Minister Blair, Chancellor Brown, Home Secretary Blunkett and others including the media
Ministers of this Labour government have been corrupt to the core and an apology for this extreme abuse of power is due the people of the UK and the Queen as you suggest.
I suspect that you do not know about this particular activity and are making your statements based upon other aspects of the corruption which I've also noted growing and occurring. This government has been corrupt to its core for many years.
This should, I hope, give you a more firm foundation upon which to continue your statements about the darkest of all possible times in British history from the abuse of surveillance technology of the kind I've experienced for social control, torture, medical experimentation, surveillance R&D and the assassination of people like me who speak the truth.
Please keep up your honesty and speaking the truth. It is the only way democracy in the UK can be saved.

Hislop, Durrell, Gellhorn and Tyranny

I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with her and found it quite fascinating. I've learned something about her and her books which I'll make a mental note to read.
I immediately began thinking about Lawrence Durrell's "A Spirit of Place" when she used this phrase in the context of understanding a location on her travels.
Durrell was a traveller, poet, commentator and novelist as well as a sometime journalist or press person for the British government on Cypress 1952 to 1955.
I pulled out his "A Spirit of Place" and found this amusing and relevant bit about political inclinations described in 1949 from his vantage point in Belgrade. This came from a letter to Theodore Stephanides in 1949 while he was with the British Embassy there:
"There is little news except that what I have seen here has turned me firmly reactionary and Tory: the blank dead end which labour leads towards seems to be this machine state, with its censored press, its long matching columns of political prisoners guarded by Tommy guns. Philistinism, puritanism and cruelty. Luckily the whole edifice has begun to crumble, and one has the pleasurable job of aiding and abetting this blockheaded people to demolish their own ideological Palace of Pleasures." (Lawrence Durrell, "A Spirit of Place: letters and essays on travel," E P Dutton & Co, New York, 1971, edited by Alan G Thomas, p 101)
Given my experience with this Labour government during the past 12 years, Durrell's perception of it as an end product manifestation seen in Yugoslavia 60 years ago is quite telling about the direction its power would take.
The horrors of the Spanish Civil War are what I would have thought and not at all romantic given the carnage. I find it interesting that you should have mentioned Eric Blair, Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn in this context for I had begun thinking about them as the discussion developed especially the latter.
I was wondering how such carnage and brutality of the Spanish Civil War could have not been as significant as Martha Gellhorn's visit to Dachau a couple days after its liberation later in 1945. She said that this profoundly changed her life after which it was never the same again. She wrote a novel "Point of No Return" about it and described it in an essay collected among others in "The Face of War."
The incredible inhumanity of person to person beggars belief in war, but the atrocities of the concentration camps were incomprehensible after their exposure. For someone seeing this first hand at liberation could have been unbearable.
Which brings me to the point that the surveillance technology torture and medical experimentation to which I've been subjected 24/7/356 for 11.5+ years while this Labour government has been in power are echoed by both Durrell and Gellhorn in their writings but have been brought to London by technology so sophisticated that even the BBC doesn't want to report it.
Travel is a marvellous stimulus, but often the whole world and then some can be found in our own backyard.

Up Tempo Labour Campaign Needs "Trance Music"

After yesterday's Elvis impersonator singing about his not getting anything right ("Wonder of You") and talking all the time without acting (dithering "A Little Less Conversation" by Mac Davis), a tie less Gordon Brown looking like he's exhausted and at the end of his rope came on against that yellow background once again.
This parliamentary system with its "Presidential" style electioneering where voters only vote for their constituency legislator is an excellent example of a third millennium "Broken Britain" that has not been repaired appearing to be heading for more calamity.
Here's more campaign songs for Labour which they can exploit as "Trance Music":
"Little Darlin' " - The Diamonds ("I was wronga . . ."
The above is the original 1957 recording of "Little Darlin' " set against the background of the film "American Graffiti."
Here's The Diamonds later on (much later) performing their immortal song in the same impeccable way:
"Hey, Bo Diddley" and "Bo Diddley" - Bo Diddley ("Bo Diddley bought baby a diamond ring . . .)
These two are most representative of "Trance Music" that is the foundation of Rock 'n' Roll I can recall. I've included them because there is no notion of discrimination at all here with this African based beat driven music. The Diamonds are a white group, and Bo Diddley is in a class by
himself.
You've got to watch the musicians and audiences as well as the performers. People of all kinds get into the music for what is an indescribable up beat and up tempo feeling that produces movement.
I came across this notion of "Trance Music" thanks to Mary Ann Kennedy while listening to her on "World on 3" on BBC Radio3 featuring live sessions with Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara from their album "Trance Sessions."
In the interview portion they made reference to "Trance Music" forming the foundation of Rock 'n' Roll's beat that came from Africa to North America finding its way out in this music above.
Justin Adams "has developed a guitar sound and style influenced equally by American blues and African traditions. They see their Trance Sessions as having 'an African sense of time and structure' - musical ideas which evolve slowly, unfettered by the time restrictions of the classic pop record format."
Although the songs above from late 1950s Rock 'n' Roll icons do fit into the tight Rock 'n' Roll pop structure, they still have that power to pick up, carry and drive with a beat that could go on and on which happens with repeated listening. One feels all the musical instruments' sound variations rather than listening explicitly to the lyrics. These songs do create a trance effect each time they're heard, and movement is irresistible

Claire Denis Director & Writer
"A young French woman returns to the vast silence of West Africa to contemplate her childhood days in a colonial outpost in Cameroon."
At the end of the film a band is playing on and on endlessly a simple, repetitive music and beat that could go on forever as far as I was concerned. The whole film had drawn me into a sort of transformation to the African experience which at the end was reflected by this "Trance Music" providing a whole sense of feeling about Africa that this film maker had successfully recreated with her magnificent film. She journeyed back to an Africa she had known as a child and successfully brought us along with her by this film.

Toxic Surveillance, Immigration & Population Growth

You left out the most important aspect of the population growth impacting Britain in years to come: the violence and crime which will develop all the more especially given the free use of surveillance technology in local control areas.
You haven't even begun to consider what has happened in the past 12 years with respect to bully gang, child abusing, viciously violent family groups given surveillance technology to use as a weapon of management under the auspices of local control tenant management, social services, police, NHS, local and central government along with elected officials and general public.
As the population concentration tightens with housing becoming more and more limited, there will be explosions of conflict, crime and violence in the concentrated areas where those in authority will use surveillance technology to create an image of serenity by manufacturing a scapegoat to blame for problems.
As in my case for 11.5+ years 24/7/365, that scapegoat has been the one who reports the problems to be addressed properly. [When people cannot do a job, they manufacture image instead.]
This will lead to bigger problems developing where people who come into contact with surveillance will be abused by its use regardless of whether they are targets, users or onlookers.
They will develop seriously disturbed personality disorders and suffer from post traumatic stress disorder from the violence which they witness, create and/or are subjected that will result in extreme behaviour problems perpetuating and growing active or passive violence, crime, drugs and general antisocial behaviour in all ages.
This is what has happened in this environment during the past 12 years as a result of those using surveillance against me as a lethal weapon since mid-August 1998 to destroy by either driving me out of my home or killing me off so that they can take over my flat.
The consequences have been horrendous reflecting a whole new problem source with all the same but more extreme problems of the past magnified but buried behind the façade of surveillance technology image creation abuse.
This is how the population problem will be addressed along with an ageing population that costs more and becomes a burden.
You haven't even begun to address this problem. Your "Is Britain Full?" programme tonight [Monday, 19.04.2010] only touched upon all the social needs of a growing population.
It didn't even begin to tackle the real problems from the dysfunctional consequences which will occur from local control and surveillance in the hands of those bully gangs who seek to dominate and control through the police, NHS and social services who will be compliant with image management and scaremongering.
You're off in the wrong direction because you're ignoring what is actually happening and has been for 12 years in my direct experience in North Kensington next to the BBC's Television Centre.

The consequences have been horrendous reflecting a whole new problem source with all the same but more extreme problems of the past magnified but buried behind the façade of surveillance technology image creation abuse.
This is how the population problem will be addressed along with an ageing population that costs more and becomes a burden.
You haven't even begun to address this problem. Your "Is Britain Full?" programme tonight [Monday, 19.04.2010] only touched upon all the social needs of a growing population.
It didn't even begin to tackle the real problems from the dysfunctional consequences which will occur from local control and surveillance in the hands of those bully gangs who seek to dominate and control through the police, NHS and social services who will be compliant with image management and scaremongering.
You're off in the wrong direction because you're ignoring what is actually happening and has been for 12 years in my direct experience in North Kensington next to the BBC's Television Centre.

Tides, Earthquakes & Volcanic Activity Related
Some 30 years ago I heard Iben Browning speak about climate and the weather. He described a situation where if pipes were put under extreme internal steam pressure, and someone came by every hour hitting the pipes hard with a hammer, that person was sure to be there when the pipes exploded.
The tides have that kind of an impact on the tectonic plates surrounding the earth that are under continuous stress from the earth's internal movements. These tides are highest when the sun, moon and earth are in a line. It is at these times that earthquakes and volcanoes are most likely to occur especially after long periods of time when the stress builds but is not released.
Last night and early this morning on BBC4 the programme "Order out of Chaos," the 2nd of five programmes in the series "Wonders of the Solar System," featured a comparison between Iceland where the Atlantic continental tectonic plate runs and a moon of the planet Saturn.
The Saturn moon was seen spewing out an ice cloud thousands of kilometres into space from time to time from its south polar region. The theory behind this explosion is that tidal forces acting on this moon by surrounding gravitation produced the heat which led to the massive explosions of this ice into space which then formed a ring made up of ice around Saturn.
Comparing Iceland's geothermal character depicted geysers exploding periodically in Iceland as background to this discussion. This past week we have seen a similar explosion of a volcano on Iceland coming up through 200 metres of ice creating ice crystals in the atmosphere along with rock debris and all else that goes with a volcanic dust cloud's eruption we call ash.
This was quite a stunning comparison with what was happening in frozen space and here on earth that reflected the same force elements at work: tides based upon the gravitational attraction of nearby massive bodies especially when they are aligned for maximum force effect.
In the past couple weeks I've sent two Emails to the BBC's Weather Show (broadcast on the BBC News Channel quarterly) with respect to this phenomenon as it relates to history which was a theme of their last quarterly broadcast in early April 2010.
Iben Browning has written two key books: "Climate and the Affairs of Men" with Nels Winkless III and "Past and Future History: A Planner's Guide" with his daughter Evelyn M Gariss. Each of these goes into great detail about tidal action, earthquakes and volcanoes along with much else as these and other factors relate to climate, weather and the history of civilisation as we know it.
Iben Browning made me aware of these factors in terms of climate and weather three decades ago, and I've always kept them in mind during this period as events which can occur that will alter human activity to a significant degree. I believe that what happened and continues to happen in Iceland is one of these events.
I have not seen this general awareness expressed over these decades in terms of what can happen with respect to these huge events. We all see the devastation that occurs with serious earthquakes lately in Haiti, Chile, China and elsewhere. We in the western world tend to look down upon these poor people who do not have adequate earthquake construction while we go to their aid in these major disasters.
Our arrogances however subtly hidden has now come back to expose western Europe as vulnerable to these huge forces of nature as well from the closing of the airspace throughout this region from the ice and rock dust ash which came out of the Iceland volcano and blew across Scandinavia and western Europe that continues without any sign of its abating.
Everyone is just as vulnerable everywhere to these huge forces of nature which we ignore because they do not happened for hundreds of years but are sure to come back and repeat themselves as they always do. As a result, we are not prepared for them whether it be building construction in lesser developed nations or the mere fact of volcanic ash coating the moving parts of our highly industrialised world to bring it to a halt.
The great problem is that those in government who are supposed to be taking care of these possible occurrences are off on their greed and glory trips helping to create toxic debt as one example which destroys the workings of the financial system as a man made catastrophe while nature acts normally to produce events that are catastrophic to human civilisation. Nature's big. Man isn't.
There are government failures in two ways here both of which have hit last week at the same time coincident with the political debate in the UK for the forthcoming national election. Toxic debt could have been completely avoided, and toxic ash could have been subject to greater awareness as a potential hazard for the industrial machine and human being as well. Now we will see how this plays out when no one planned for it.

Earthquakes and volcanoes go together triggered at times of extreme stress by tidal action around the globe when tides are the highest.
We've had two devastating earthquakes in China (one just now) and in Haiti and Chile as well as other places that have made the news such as the Solomon Islands recently. Japan has had its share of earthquakes recently too in the news.
These earthquakes have been devastating because extreme stress has been released for powerful earthquakes.
One would expect volcanic activity at the same time.
We can't predict these, but we can observe the effects of the accumulating events especially the volcanic ash in the atmosphere.
If the Iceland volcano goes on as it has been, these particles will block the sun making our weather cooler and perhaps we might see a climate change to colder summers this year and next. The effect could last for a decade or more. Who knows?
The question is about other volcanoes around the world, and what they are doing? Are they contributing to the volcanic ash in the atmosphere circling the globe?
When Mt Tambora blew in 1815 with the most massive eruption in 1630 years, it led to the "Year Without a Summer." It was proceeded by several lesser but significant volcanoes each leaving ash in the upper atmosphere.
The last time this Iceland volcano erupted significantly was in 1821 which went on for a couple years into 1823 continuously spewing ash upwards.
I think it's significant to see this grouping of volcanoes erupting over a decade from 1811 to 1821 just as it is now significant to see these earthquakes and this Iceland volcano occurring in a short space of time.
Levels of stress are reaching breaking points, and tides are acting as stress releasers when they are at their highest points.
I see by my little electronic device that there is now a new moon. Maybe you can work out the tidal impact at this time from the alignment of the Sun, Moon (new and full) and Earth which might have contributed to the eruption of this volcano in Iceland which had been erupting since last December with a significant eruption about a month ago.
Aren't you lucky to be meteorologists living during this time when all these natural events are occurring with this spectacular event the risk of which can be anticipated although the events themselves cannot be predicted?
The aftermath effect on the weather and climate can be anticipated and predicted by the amount of collective ash that gets thrown up into the atmosphere and circles the globe.
Brrrrrrr. Maybe we'll have snow in June.
Perhaps global warming will be hidden for a time by volcanic activity then roar back in a most devastating manner when nothing can be done to stop it.

Ah, this leads me back to Iben Browning once again who got me onto this subject c 1980.
Sadly, Iben Browning is now gone as is the Fraser Publishing Company for his books, but the ideas still stimulate. Consider his book written with his daughter Evelyn M Gariss "Past and Future History: A Planner's Guide."
I went looking for a picture of "Hootus Climaticus Maximus" to show you what I thought would produce a smile and discovered that this book has some copies available at Alibris.
While I don't think you will rush to buy a copy, I do consider it chock-a-block full with historical information over the centuries and millenniums that relate to weather, climate and the history of human civilisation. You might want to have a glance.
"Hootus Climatus Maximus" is this great drawing by Emilie "Rainbow" Tourain in 1980 evidently done especially for Iben Browning et al and this book. It shows this marvellous owl ravaged by years of earning wisdom gripping a pencil while perched on charts and maps. You have to see it.
The historical information here is fascinating bringing together many factors of influence impacting climate and the weather. His thinking approach is well worth noting, but his predictions are like any other and fall wide of the mark from time to time.

Orwell Prize Orwellian

Subject: I first learned about the Orwell prize today when the short list was announced and had to smile. George Orwell was right.
No one but no one is writing about what I've been reporting for 11.5+ years of which over eight years have been public in various ways (see links below).
You have never considered awarding the Orwell Prize to someone like me who has been the target/victim of the most advanced surveillance technology that goes way beyond "1984" with my writing about it delineating the abolition of democracy and all its institutions which has occurred in my direct experience since mid-August 1998.
The essence of what I report is subjected to the Orwellian abuse described in "1984" but carried so far by this technology that no one wants to accept its reality which no one wanted to do originally about "1984," yet it exists far more than George Orwell could ever have imagined. No one writes about it at all.
"Director of the prize, Jean Seaton, said: "Although moaning about the decline of journalism has become something of a national and international cliché, these acutely written, well-evidenced, careful bits of contemporary journalism show, in fact, it is in fine form." "
Someone like myself subjected to the most totally invasive surveillance technology ever known who tries to write about it will produce fractured and fragmented snippets of what it is and what it's doing. Therein lies the essence and truth of what I report. Form matches content. It rings of truth and will not be nice, neat, tidy and chock-a-block with heaps of precise evidence.
It's like trying the describe Higg's bosons, dark matter and dark energy by its impact on oneself and the environment. I've only just begun writing about this although I've got over a decade of daily, continuous notes.
My public writing began in November 2001 with a web site and has continued in the various links noted below. This is what the real George Orwell meant when he was addressing political writing taken to an art form. The art reflects its reality because it is a part of it whatever that reality might be.
Your prize will always be deficient until you begin to consider those of us who are writing about the reality of what George Orwell fictionalised. It's a Coleridge/Wordsworth kind of problem where the fantasy is real and reality is fantasy.
Will you get to the reality of today's Orwellian society through someone writing about it as it really exists?
