There have been no lessons learned because the intense cruelty, deceit and disregard has continued under this Labour government against children and adults for the past 11+ years.
The apology is an exercise in image management of the worst kind because this government carries out abuse deliberately by giving surveillance technology to child abusers to continue their child abuse while broadening it to the community and adult abuse against anyone like me who would report child abuse and this cover up.
The essence of the disregard and overall deceit that took place up to the 1960s with respect to cruelty to children and parents alike has been continued by this government since 1998 in my direct experience only this time by giving the child abusing adults surveillance technology to hide the abuse while carrying on with it.
Will there come a day when a government will apologise to the children who were abused when the child abusing adults surrounding them were given surveillance to continue the abuse protected by government which resulted in the overall destruction of their lives making them unfit to function properly in society?
This government knows all that is going on with hundreds involved, yet it then has the unmitigated audacity to apologise for the same kind of cruel, deliberate disregard that went on for decades up to the 1960s deporting children.
Nothing has changed, but this Labour government wants to create the illusion that something has for image management.
