The intelligence system is already out of control in a most malignant way, and that is the problem. It is not possible to communicate about those who are out of control adding to the deluge of information including their faked allegations and false negative characterisations so that they can be stopped to ensure valid information is not buried.
When failures occur as described by Dana Priest and Bill Arkin in this initial article about "Top Secret America" published in the Washing Post Monday last, 19th July 2010, there is a call for more money, more analysts, more buildings to do the work of getting what they aren't going to get done anyway given the current abuse in the system.
No one identifies the source of deliberately generated bad information used to make the incompetent abusers look good and keep getting paid while they try to increase their power and stature. In the secret intelligence world it's far too easy to make up whatever one wants and keep from getting caught. As a result, terrorists succeed, crime flourishes and the social order collapses as if dominated and controlled by organised crime.
In this fabulously informative "Top Secret America" project emerging from the Washington Post there is a brilliant and fascinating description of information overload where the response is always to grow to competence rather than to cut out the malfeasance to ensure quality. The existence of those who fake it is so significant in my direct experience as to constitute the major menace to the success of the intelligence mission.
This article highlights as one example of intelligence failure the newly sprung National Counterterrorism Centre (NCTC) which is part of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) now ensconced it its new building Liberty Crossing in McLean, Virginia. Dana Priest and Bill Arkin discuss the role and activity of the NCTC director Micheal Leiter in conjunction with the Xmas Day Detroit bomber.
The failure occurred at the NCTC as described succinctly by them with a response that more money for analysts and whatever else are needed to solve the problem. I do not believe that this is the solution to the problem which rests with the failure to recognise and jettison those who are known to deliberately fake it as I described five months before the Xmas Day Detroit would-be bombing when noting that the enemy was within.
"Achilles Heel at National Counterterrorism Centre" contains a copy of my Email to the Editor of the Columbia Magazine sent on 23rd July 2009 (a year ago as it happens) after reading an article about NCTC director Michael Leiter a Columbia College graduate. Links to the original article are provided and the wee bit of my letter that was subsequently published.
I identified the risks from a terrorist attack as occurring at the NCTC five months before the Xmas Day Detroit bombing attempt occurred. I pointed out that the enemy was within which was not being addressed. What I meant by this was the rubbish information being generated by the likes of Colonel Vine, Lt Harry Bird (both USMC Ret) and others as they intentionally puff up everything for their own corrupt self interest.
They started in February 2001 carrying out their surveillance technology abuse against me in North Kensington, London, UK, seven months before 9/11. The rubbish industry was already in place. Colonel Vine argued in May 2001 to kidnap and remove me from the UK for no justifiable reason whatsoever just as there was no justifiable reason to use the surveillance technology against me 24/7/365. He cited an earlier instance of kidnapping someone after a Royal Festival Hall concert as an example where no fuss was ever made.
Thus, I had an early glimpse at rendition and torture abuse which in this instance was carried out 24/7/365 by surveillance technology abuse using it as a lethal weapon. I call it Toxic Surveillance. This was fully operational and in place before 9/11. It just grew afterwards as revealed by Colonel Vine going to Kabul after the success of the US invasion of Afghanistan following 9/11. He was later described as in Sri Lanka after the Boxing Day Tsunami hit there.
There is no doubt then that Colonel Vine and Lt Harry Bird are connected with the wider US global intelligence and surveillance effort which has existed before 9/11 although the whole effort has grown extraordinarily afterwards. Lt Harry Bird USMC Ret has been a permanent surveillance fixture against me 24/7/365 all these years making up a whole spectrum of allegations and false characterisation for almost a decade so that I was able to write with confidence a year ago that the real problem for US intelligence and counter terrorism was rubbish in the information pipeline.
Not only did I write that Email to the Editor of the Columbia Magazine, but I also faxed a copy of it to President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Gordon Brown later that same night since I felt so strongly that this was a prime risk for a terrorist attack which occurred almost exactly five months later. No effort was made to stop this abuse which I continuously documented and reported. The NCTC had no Email address for public use on its web site.
It is just not the information overload with which the NCTC had to contend, but it was the load of rubbish that was jammed into the pipeline on a continuous basis from before 9/11 that then got included in the build up following 9/11 as more incompetent and inexperienced people were added because of the 9/11 failure. Nobody said we've got rubbish in the system from bad people: let's get it out. As a result, Quantanamo filled with innocents, increased rendition flights carried the innocent and torture was the standard all around. This activity all existed before 9/11 and was just increased afterwards to the point where it became exposed.
Still as of this writing, right now, this same surveillance torture abuse goes on. There has never been the slightest respite in almost 12 years in total from this disposition to carry out indefinite surveillance abuse by US and UK agents. The result has been a wasting of resources and diversion of attention away from those who are the real threats as occurred with the London bombers on 7/7/2005 and would-be bombers of 21/7/2005.
At the same time the Christmas Day Detroit would-be bomber was recognised while studying at University College London but not tracked. However, I, who was completely and totally innocent and one who reported risks and possible threats, was being subjected to complete and totally invasive surveillance abuse throughout all these years 24/7/365. The world of intelligence and counter terrorism was out of control and had been before 9/11 in my direct experience from US and UK agents abusing me in the extreme for three years prior to 9/11.
These people have dug themselves in so deeply that they can never admit the truth and continue to demand more of everything so that they can "dig deeper" to succeed where they have failed for almost 12 years. They want more people, more resources and more money to get on with their execution so that they can cover up what they have really done by my death enabling them to say anything they please without opposition and go on clogging the intelligence pipeline with their next victim. "No Excuse For Not Tracking Delta Aircraft Bomberr" On Xmas Eve the day before the Xmas Day Detroit would-be bomber struck, I sent this Email to the BBC following a broadcast report about MI5 disagreeing with a couple points made. My last sentence concludes with ". . . for the very foundation of democracy is at threat from within."
US Intelligence is a $75 billion industry, but the NCTC did not have an Email address for me to send my Email noted at the start above. Just take a look at the razzle dazzle photographs from the Washington Post of Liberty Crossing. See photos 2 through 6 including Michael Leiter walking down the hall. They have all this, but no one can think while I have nothing and get it right.
They want power, prestige, status, domination and control for which they will do anything and is why I've been subjected to Toxic Surveillance for nearly 12 years with all the other disasters happening. No one stops this abuse despite full knowledge of all that is happening. That is the real enemy within. Toxic Surveillance will bring about the end of the world as we know it unless stopped.
Liberty Crossing has a second much darker meaning much like crossing the river Styx that is quite close to reality.
